Location: Crawley, United Kingdom
Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 basic, OTE £60,000

Role Overview: The Mortgage Advisor role is pivotal in delivering expert mortgage advice to clients, ensuring they secure tailored mortgage solutions aligned with their unique financial objectives. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the overall success of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mortgage Consultations: Conduct comprehensive mortgage consultations with clients, evaluating their financial circumstances and goals. Utilize your expertise to recommend suitable mortgage products and repayment options.

  2. Expert Advice: Provide expert advice on mortgage products, including interest rates, terms, and associated fees. Ensure clients have a thorough understanding of the mortgage terms and conditions.

  3. Financial Analysis: Analyze clients' financial documents, such as income statements and credit reports, to determine their eligibility for mortgage loans. Guide clients through the mortgage application process, offering support and guidance at every step.

  4. Liaison: Collaborate effectively with lenders and underwriters to facilitate the mortgage application process. Negotiate favorable terms on behalf of clients and ensure timely processing of applications.

  5. Market Awareness: Stay abreast of mortgage market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices. Apply this knowledge to provide up-to-date and relevant advice to clients.

  6. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders. Uphold the firm's reputation for professionalism, integrity, and customer service excellence.

  7. Sales Targets: Exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell additional financial products and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor within the financial services industry.
  • Full CeMAP qualification or equivalent accreditation is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in mortgage sourcing software and CRM systems.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is desirable.

Benefits: In addition to a competitive basic salary ranging from £29,000 to £31,000, the successful candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package. This includes a company car or car allowance, along with 33 days holiday per year. An attractive OTE of £60,000 is achievable based on performance metrics.
