Overview:

An established estate agency in the Guildford area is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to join their team. This role involves providing mortgage and protection advice within the busy estate agency office in Guildford, specifically dealing with mortgages up to £700,000, with an average property value of £650,000.

Main Duties:

This is an excellent opportunity for a fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker to work in the Guildford office alongside an existing team of introducers. The role is integral to the branch's success, requiring a proactive Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker living in the Guildford area to collaborate with a team of financial services-focused introducers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with financial services-focused introducers to review existing clients' mortgage and protection policies.
• Receive fresh leads on a day-to-day basis and provide regulated advice on mortgages and associated protection products.
• Utilize the company's extensive database of existing clients and have access to numerous mortgage products and competitive protection policies.
• Work with properties up to £700,000, with an average case size of £2,500, offering excellent earnings potential.
• Engage with an active sales-focused team of negotiators to enhance overall service delivery.
• Contribute to the successful completion of over 90 property transactions on average per month in the geographical area.

Requirements:

• Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor, Mortgage Broker, or Mortgage Adviser.
• Ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a fast-paced estate agency environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in providing regulated advice on mortgages and protection products.
• Knowledge of the mortgage market, products, and industry regulations.
• Located in the Guildford area.
