Mobile Plant Fitter

My client is an industry leading; family ran company. Due to a successful period, they are now looking for an experienced plant fitter to join their team to perform LOLER & PUWER inspections on client’s machinery, along with fault finding, servicing and repairs. A mobile Plant Fitter you will be attending sites directly across the London and surrounding area, with a small amount of work within the workshop. This is an exciting role for an engineer that is experienced within the industry.

Senior Mobile Plant Fitter and Inspector Role

Location: Ashford  (TW15)

£30,000 - £40,000 basic salary, 20 days plus Bank Holidays, phone, van, fuel card and pension.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Attending clients’ sites to perform services and repairs or plant machinery.
• Carry out LOLER & PUWER inspections.
• Ensuring your van is stocked correctly.
• Completing the correct documentation accurately and in time.
• Always representing the company in a professional manner.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• Experience in servicing, fault finding and repairing heavy plant machinery.
• Good mechanical / hydraulic knowledge.
• Experience of working within a Plant Engineering environment.
• An understanding of hydraulic systems is a benefit but not essential.
• LOLER & PUWER knowledge is advantageous.
• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Engineering.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good HSE knowledge.
• In date CSCS Cards.
• Full UK driving licence.
