Mobile Caretaker

Weston Foyer, Weston-Super-Mare – Covering Somerset

£18,180 per annum (rising to £19,136 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

40 hours per week

We have an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Caretaker to join our well established Estate Services team in Weston-Super-Mare. Covering the Somerset area, you will be working across multiple sites per day, with a focus to provide true customer service. Full support and training will be provided and although challenging, the role is equally rewarding and individual effort is recognised. If you are a motivated team player with a keen eye for detail, this could be the role for you.

The role of Mobile Caretaker will include:

  • Undertaking general caretaking duties including, cleaning of communal areas, removal of bulk waste, basic repairs and grounds maintenance
  • Completing all paperwork associated with working tasks, including rotas and risk assessments
  • Identifying potential faults, ensuring they are reported and monitored
  • Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a suitable condition

Skills and experiences:

  • Previous cleaning or caretaking experience is desirable
  • Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workload
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with fast changing requirements
  • A company van will be provided for business use only, therefore a full, current driving licence is essential
