Public Practice Recruitment Specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading firm of accountants with a particularly strong presence across the north of England, who are now seeking to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior to join their growing tax department in their Carlisle office.

The position will involve working with a varied portfolio of clients including business and corporate clients, company directors and private clients amongst others.

You will be responsible for the provision of tax compliance services to clients within your portfolio, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and efficiently to the highest standards through the preparation and review of tax papers. This will include reviewing corporate tax computations prepared by accounts staff as well as preparing personal tax returns, capital gains tax computations and dealing with HMRC queries as required.

There will be opportunity for the right candidate to become involved in tax planning advice as the role develops.

The ideal candidate for this role will be ATT qualified or studying towards CTA having previously worked in a mixed tax role in practice.
