Minibus Driver & Site Support Assistant - Part time

Minibus driver required for a charity based in Surrey.

In this varied role, you will be a vital part of the day to day operation across the trust; providing a daily pickup and drop off service for staff from a central location. Additionally, as part of the Trust’s Facilities Team you will assist with some site focused tasks and support the pupil and learner transitions in the mornings and afternoons.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Provide a daily pick-up and drop-off service

• Undertake vehicle maintenance checks, cleaning and reporting of deficiencies

• Assist with daily taxis and parent transport movements and site vehicle access and movements

• Carry out the movement of deliveries, furniture and equipment within the site

• Maintain cleanliness and general tidiness and inspection of all external areas of the site

• Carry out weekly building check of property in Guildford, keeping accurate records and reporting deficiencies

What will you need?

• Full, clean driving licence is required

• Proven basic vehicle maintenance skills

• Experience in a driving role

• Experience of undertaking basic grounds maintenance

• Ability to understand and adhere to Child Protection and Safeguarding legislation

• Experience in a similar setting would be advantageous
