Midday Supervisor - ASAP start

This is your chance to play a crucial role in ensuring students have a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience while gaining valuable experience in the education sector.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise students during lunch breaks, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
2. Manage student behaviour and encourage positive interactions among peers.
3. Monitor students' activities in the dining area, playground, and other designated areas, intervening as necessary to prevent accidents or conflicts.
4. Assist with the implementation of lunchtime routines and procedures, including queuing, serving food, and cleaning up afterward.
5. Provide support to students with special needs or specific requirements during lunchtime activities.
6. Collaborate with school staff to address any issues or concerns related to student behaviour or safety.
7. Maintain a calm and orderly atmosphere during lunch breaks, promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or childcare setting.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
3. Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude toward ensuring the well-being of students.
4. Ability to remain calm and composed in potentially challenging situations.
5. A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
6. Flexibility and reliability to work during lunch hours on a full-time basis.
