Join us on a thrilling journey of global digital transformation, led from the UK, where you'll play a pivotal role in our Data Management and BI team. As a Mid-Level BI & Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing our Business Intelligence (BI), Dashboards, and data analysis, using Power BI and custom solutions to foster an innovative reporting ecosystem.

Your mission: To refine and augment our BI outputs, driving operational efficiency and deeper insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and develop BI and data applications using PowerBI and integrate Azure technologies like Data Lakes, Data Bricks, and Synapse.
  • Oversee PowerBI Workspaces, including user access and scheduling.
  • Build and deploy PowerBI reports with advanced data modeling techniques.
  • Review and improve the accuracy of reports across various platforms such as Tableau and Excel.
  • Enable seamless data integration across UK platforms to ensure a unified data view.
  • Utilize Power Platform skills to expand system capabilities.
  • Guide project delivery, using Jira Kanban, and regularly provide project insights.
  • Lead training sessions to empower team self-reporting with PowerBI.
  • Propose system enhancements to the UK BI & Data Manager based on data-driven insights.
  • Mentor BI Analysts in PowerBI and SQL scripting.

Essential Skills:

  • A-level or equivalent, or considerable experience in a similar BI & Data Analysis role.
  • Expertise in PowerBI, Tableau, data modeling, and Azure cloud services.
  • Proficient with MS SQL Server.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and drive change within a team environment.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Higher education degree or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Proclaim, data virtualization, and machine learning.
  • Experience in data engineering, management, and modeling.
  • Proven interaction with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Experience within the Insurance or Financial Services sectors is a plus.
  • Openness to occasional travel, with a valid driving license.
