There’s something about that first glimpse of the sea that lifts the heart and summons a wave of nostalgia. Sea air, fresh fish straight off the boat, local ice cream, seagulls, sunset strolls, seals and sea shanties carrying up on the wind from the harbour (genuinely!)

All that was within 2 hours of visiting. Can you imagine actually living there? Well this is your opportunity!

Our client is looking for a skilled Analyst with experience developing & validating methods on HPLC & LC-MS instrumentation.

You will be joining a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art laboratory, specialising in studies within the ecotoxicology and environmental fate sectors. You will lead the development and validation of a range of analytical methods in support of regulated studies, conducting sample preparation and analysis using LC-MS/MS techniques. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and effectively, as well as part of a cross functional team and will have opportunities to take on project management responsibilities, liaising and working with clients to ensure their requirements are met.

In return you will receive fantastic opportunities for personal and career development, a competitive salary and benefits package as well as a fantastic collaborative and supportive work culture within a excellent and scenic laboratory facility.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

  • BSc/MSc degree in Chemistry or related subject
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a regulated laboratory environment e.g. (ISO, GMP)
  • 2 years+ method development experience using LC-MS/MS instrumentation
