A Method Development Chemist is required to join a globally renowned chemical manufacturing business based in Essex. As Method Development Chemist you will take a primary responsibility of developing and validating global analytical methodologies whilst managing multiple projects.

Method Development Chemist

- Participate in the day to day responsibility for laboratory safety and to ensure that all staff act within the strict EHS procedures.

- Take responsibility for the development and roll out of new analytical methods (GC-MS,LC-MS,HPLC).

- To provide expert analytical support to operations and customers.

- To support the development and training of laboratory personnel to ensure high standards of work are maintained.

- Development and introduction of new analytical methods.

Method Development Chemist

- You must possess a degree qualification in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or closely related field of study.

- Proven background and work experience record in analytical method development.

- Strong working knowledge in method development using GC-MS, LC-MS, GC and HPLC.

- Previous experience operating within an ISO 17025 accredited environment.

- Experience working with a variety other analytical techniques including FT-IR, GPC, RI and light scattering detectors and DSC.
