Medicines Governance Pharmacist - PPSU

This 6 month secondment is an opportunity to undertake quality improvement activities in relation to hospital pharmacy practice and safer use of medicines. The focus of the improvement work is negotiable, but must align with Sector/Service priorities. Experience of working in hospital pharmacy practice, a good understanding of pharmacy and medicines related processes and previous experience of improvement work is highly desirable. Guidance and support will be provided by the Lead Pharmacist, Medicines Governance. It is essential that you have a Masters Degree in pharmacy or equivalent. Your Pre Registration year should be completed and the examination passed. It is also essential that you are a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council. The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday. (hours / days negotiable). If you are considering this as a secondment post then please discuss this with your current line manager in the first instance. The post covers Inverclyde Royal Hospital and Royal Alexandra Hospital.
