Media Studies Teacher - September 2025

Are you an experienced Media Studies Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Secondary Schools? Perhaps a Supply Teacher who has experience covering Media Studies and is now seeking a long-ter opportunity from September?

Tradewind are currently seeking a passionate and engaging Media Studies Teacher to support a vibrant secondary school based in the heart of Sutton Coldfield - the opportunity also welcomes Early Careers Teachers (ECT) looking to progress their journey within education.

The Role:

  • Location - Sutton Coldfield

  • Plan, teach and mark Eduqas GCSE and A level Media to KS3 and KS4.

  • Join a well-resourced department with access to advanced digital tools for all staff and students
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining an inclusive learning environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A relevant Media or Teaching Degree - ideally with teaching experience
  • A passion for teaching and supporting student progress
  • Ability to create engaging lesson content in-line with the National Curriculum
  • QTS is desirable - however, experienced Instructors are considered
  • Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to professional development, with CPD/NPQ opportunities available
