We are currently looking to recruit a skilled and ambitious Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to be responsible for the maintenance of Mick George Concrete Ltd batching plants across the East Anglia and East Midlands regions.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities on ready mix concrete batching plants across Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.
Play a key 'hands on role’ in the planning and implementation of plant improvements.
To respond to call outs and unplanned plant shutdowns in a timely manner and minimise operational downtime.
Minimise operational downtime
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Possess sound knowledge of concrete plant repairs
Ability to diagnose problems effectively and carry out necessary repairs to manufacturers specifications.
Welding ability would be desirable.
Fault finding skills.
Electrical and Hydraulics knowledge required
Excellent communication skills
This is a mobile role so the ideal candidate would be required to be highly self-motivated and flexible.
Full UK driving licence
