KAP Technical are working with a company that provides engineering services and process technologies to the utilities, food, beverage, power, and industrial process industries.

JOB PURPOSE

To always work safely and to always consider the safety of others in anything they do ·
To deliver mechanical services on defined projects ·
To take instruction from a team leader · To work in the workshop or on site as required ··
This role will report directly to the Workshop manager/Project Engineer but will take instructions from a team leader when working on site or specific projects KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE ·

Mechanical fitting.

Experience in working with mechanical equipment.

  • Ideally a recognised apprenticeship
  • Ability to work from instruction.
  • Clear demonstration of safety behaviour
  • Ability to read and understand general arrangement drawings.
  • Holds or has the capability to obtain the relevant qualifications to fulfil duties & accountabilities within the next year.
  • Full valid UK driving licence - essential ·
  • Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme [CSCS] card
  • Valid National Water Hygiene card - o EUSR
  • Confined Space - Level 2 City & Guilds · Forklift Licence (preferable)
  • PASMA (preferable)

Willingness to travel in the whole of UK and Ireland, with occasional visits further afield
Willingness to engage proactively with our continuous improvement approach to Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
