Generator Engineer 

Swindon 

If you are an experienced engineer with a strong background in electro mechanical servicing and repair then this could be the ideal new role for you! 

This will be a workshop based role where you will be working mainly on inspection, maintenance, service and repair of portable electrical generator equipment. 

You will ideally have strong fault finding and diagnostic skills and a recognised qualification of City and Guilds or higher and experience of working on generator equipment would be beneficial.

Job Role 

Inspect of equipment and producing ?survey reports. 

Carrying out generator maintenance, servicing, and repair 

Provide technical advice and support regarding fault investigations. 

Drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, COSHH, Engineering Hygiene, Risk Assessments, and safe working practices in a hazardous environment. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

Recognised and accredited trade qualifications of City & Guilds standards or above. 

Proficient in fault finding and diagnostic abilities on mechanical and electrical components. 

Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), service targets, 

Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
