Mechanical / Electrical Engineer - 3on 3off days & nights

My client are a well established distribution company recruiting for an experienced ENGINEER to join their team.

Daily duties will include:

• Raise all hazards in the SHE or equivalent system and liaising with the engineering manager
• Assist with workplace accident investigation recording all engineering aspects
• Carry out controlled investigation of any fire or ammonia alarm activation
• Maintain good manufacturing and engineering practice GMP/GEP at all times
• Using relevant skills, react efficiently to any breakdown situation, equipment or site facilities failure and make prompt repairs to return equipment to running condition
• Completing repairs to damaged building fabric as required
• Full mechanical understanding of power transmission systems, product manufacturing equipment and conveying systems
• Fault finding diagnostic ability of electrical systems up to and including PLC level
• TPM and root cause analysis following a production stoppage assessment

You must have previous experience in a similar role and have relevant engineering qualifications!

Working hours:

• 3on3off days and nights. 2 weeks 7am - 7pm followed by 2 weeks 7pm-7am
