My client based in the Droitwich area is looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer on a Permanent basis.

This is fantastic opportunity to join a company that will offer the right training and support to upskill you into their sector

The main tasks associated with the role moving forward includes

- Working as part of a growing team
- Design in 2 and 3 D ranging from full assembly to individual parts
- Creation of BOM
- Liaising with the Production department
- Be part of the full product life-cycle experience from design through to manufacturing

As a suitable person you will offer the following

- Experience in Autocad2D and Inventor 3D packages
- an ability to create 2D and 3D drawings
- experience in designing light/medium sheet metal parts
- experience in designing machined parts
- experience in design of light to heavy metal fabrications
- experience of compiling Bills of Materials
- Excellent overall IT skills
- Demonstrate an ability for learning and continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail

This role is Mon-Fri and the salary on offer will be determined by a candidates relevant experience
