Tradewind Recruitment have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher in Lincolnshire. The role is long-term, full-time Monday - Friday and starts ASAP! The position is at a school that aims to inspire pupils to be independent and fulfilled in their academic achievement!

The child-centred learning approach is something that teachers cherish at the school as they enjoy the collaborative environment.

The role available is to cover a maternity and will last until at least the end of the school year, possibly longer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering high quality lesson plans that motivate pupils to participate actively in lessons.
  • Work closely with pupils to support their learning ensuring activities are adaptive to different needs.
  • Collaborate with the Maths department coming up with strategies to improve students' performance in GCSE.
  • Follow and implement Safeguarding/behavioural policies in schools.

During your placement, Tradewind Recruitment will support you with CPD Training through the National College, your own personal consultant to deal with needs, and keeping you updated with opportunities in the area.

The role will be paid to scale with a daily rate of £153.85 - £211.86.

  • QTS with Mathematics degree/qualification.
  • Experience teaching in Secondary Schools.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Satisfactory References.
