A temporary maternity cover Maths Teaching role in Cheshire has become available, paying to your appropriate pay scale, teaching secondary school students curriculum based lessons. The school has an ever-growing reputation within the Cheshire area, and has demonstrated year on year improvement in terms of their OFSTED reports. GCSE and A-level results have seen consecutive increases.
Your new role
You will be joining an expert mathematics faculty and reporting to a designated head of faculty, both of which will support you throughout your employment at the school. You will be assisting students in their educational development and teaching to an eager group of Key stage 3, and 5 students. You will be expected to assign appropriate homework, and give feedback to students, so they can broaden their knowledge and evaluate their performance.
What you'll need to succeed
If selected for the secondary school mathematics teacher job you will be expected to exert your expertise in all aspects of teaching from the curriculum. You will need a passion for working with children, and a determination to deliver the very best results to assist in the overall growing reputation of the school. You will require a PGCE qualification and have relevant experience in leading and teaching lessons, however teachers at NQT level are also welcome to apply. You must be comfortable working as part of a team, and be confident in communicating to both students to effectively manage behaviour, as well as communicating to other members of staff on how to improve the overall teaching experience.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid daily based on your appropriate pay scale.
