Your new role
Your new role will initially operate on a temporary basis with a view to a permanent position following a successful placement. The role is full time and has materialised as the already high achieving department are looking to expand. You will be responsible for teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 whilst ensuring all pupils are achieving to the best of their ability and being challenged in the classroom. You will plan and prepare lessons, ensuring you are differentiating in line with pupil ability and you will also be required to complete marking and assessment. In addition to the above, you will also be required to attend parents evenings and other school functions, therefore fully contributing to school life.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you must have experience of teaching Mathematics to KS4. The school are looking to appoint an individual who is extremely pro-active who can be flexible and adaptable. To apply for this vacancy, it is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status or have completed your PGCE in FE.
