Tempest Resourcing is working with a group of colleges in East London. There is a high demand for Maths Lecturers in September (both long term and short term). Tempest are keen to speak to all qualified teachers and lecturers who are looking for work in September. If you have any of the requirements below please send us your CV.

Requirements:

  • A PTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent (recognised in the UK)
  • Relevant Qualification
  • Recent Educational teaching experience
  • Basic Maths & English qualifications (GCSE or Equivalent)
  • Subject knowledge at an excellent standard
  • A written record of consistent good/outstanding teaching observations
  • A DBS issued within 12 months or registered with the update service

Our pool of temporary staff are vital to ensure that we provide an outstanding service to students and ensure lessons are covered by experienced and familiar staff during periods of expected and unexpected absence. For the right candidate, being part of the team may lead to permanent employment if that is your long term goal!

Experience of working with young people aged 16-18 is essential as well as the ability to deliver the curriculum creatively. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work independently.

You will be flexible, approachable and preferably be familiar with the current issues and challenges within Further Education. You would be joining a supportive team which has a strong focus on improving standards and achieving success
