Office Based Role 

My client is looking for a Material Planning & Logistics Analyst to join their team! If you have previous experience as a Material Planning & Logistics Analyst or a similar role, and are looking to join a reputable company with fantastic benefits, then LOOK NO FURTHER!

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Management of several External Supplier accounts
• Reviewing and sending AS400 Purchase schedules to the supplier
• Reviewing and Sending “Level Loaded” schedules to the supplier using Excel Spreadsheets
• Arranging transport for goods that are ready to be collected
• Review shipments from the supplier, some by Air some by Sea
• Keeping track of shipments
• Prioritise incoming shipments, Sea/Air/Road/Other
• Chasing suppliers to reduce Arrears / Backorders
• Deal with any customs documents or issues that are required for import of goods to the UK
• Managing inventory levels to an agreed quantity or cost
• Work closely with our Purchasing dept ref MOQ’s Lead times etc
• Be able to make decisions on Cost of transport Vs Urgency of parts required

• To be able to communicate in English (verbal & written)
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Able to Build Relationships with Suppliers & Production Team
• Good Organisational Skills
• Good IT literacy
• Ability to chase Suppliers

• Good organisational skills, including attention to detail
• Self-motivated and have a strong and flexible attitude towards work
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines when required
• The ability to prioritise and organise own workload
