MDH are recruiting for a Material Handler/Forklift Driver for our client’s manufacturing site in Coatbridge.

This is a full-time role, where you will be working a rotating weekly shift pattern of dayshift and nightshift, with a half day every Friday.

  • Days: 6am-2pm
  • Backs: 2pm-10pm

Rate of pay is up to £14.51 an hour - weekly pay. Overtime available at enhanced rates.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To check parts received/delivered and prepare appropriate documentation for parts to be received on the system.
  • Locate parts accurately and safely in their designated location.
  • Pick parts accurately for in-house customer.
  • Investigate and report any stock discrepancies to supervisor.
  • To replenish Production’s consumables and floor stock
  • Inform the Parts supervisor of any parts issues or delays in a timely manner.

To be effective in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience of working in a stores/warehouse environment.
  • Good computer literacy skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • A Forklift licence is essential for this role.
