01927 - MARKETING LEAD & GENERATION EXEC - SALFORD - £21,000 PA

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role holder will drive lead generation activities for the various sales teams within Salford Professional Development. Working closely with the sales teams the role holder will undertake a series of targeted marketing activities both digital and offline to raise awareness and generate inquiries for our sales teams to capitalise on. The role requires a commercially minded individual who has a flair for creating and marketing benefit-driven content. Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail will be required to review all campaign activities to make sure all elements of your marketing mix is on point and as effective as possible. Strong interpersonal skills will be needed to help build productive relationships with partner networks and supporters
The role and responsibilities:
º Identify and understand target audiences for a number of products and services, customer portfolio profiling
º Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
º Create benefit driven marketing campaigns both on and offline
º Create and nurture relationships with supporting networks and partnership organisations
º Work with various sales teams to create sales opportunities
º Assist in market research to target gaps in the market or changes in buying behaviour
º Assist the Marketing Manager in driving online revenue
º Work with the Membership Team to drive opt in

Additional Information
£21,00 pa plus benefits
Personal specification:
º Marketing experience from a B2B background, ideally from the training / events industry
º Self-starter, self-motivated and independent thinker who is also a strong team player
º Understanding of the core sectors in which SPD operates
º Analytical individual able to analyse customer trends/interests and turn this data into benefit driven campaigns content
º Strong communicator and influencer throughout a range of communication channels and approaches
º Commercial awareness is important
º Well organised and structured in business processes
º Target driven and highly motivated
º Ability to work to deadlines and targets
