Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Market Risk Business Analyst to join our Investment Banking client's team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in Risk, Finance, or Treasury, particularly within Market Risk or Liquidity Risk domains. The successful candidate will contribute to critical projects relating to Counterparty Credit Risk (CVA), Internal Model Approval (IMA), Standardized Approach (SA) Market Risk, Trading Book Wind Down initiatives, and Stress Testing (CCAR).

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in investment and/or retail banking within a Risk, Finance, or Treasury function, with a focus on Market Risk or Liquidity Risk.
  • Strong understanding of Risk concepts and methodologies, with the ability to analyse complex financial data and market trends effectively.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience or qualifications in Business Analysis or Process Re-engineering.
  • High attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate and high-quality results.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success.

Key Projects:

  • Counterparty Credit Risk (CVA)
  • Internal Model Approval (IMA)
  • Standardized Approach (SA) Market Risk
  • Trading Book Wind Down initiatives
  • Stress Testing (CCAR) and regulatory compliance projects

Subject matter expertise in any of the above risk areas would be a major advantage.
