Brand new role created for an ambitious manual tester to join a mature software development team. You’ll be working alongside an automation tester who’s setting up a new automation test framework meaning there will be opportunities to move into automation in the future.

This is an important role working as part of a team who build and ensure business-critical systems are running smoothly and to industry regulations. You’ll play a pivotal role as part of a multi-disciplined team.

About You: As the ideal candidate you will bring experience testing web-based software applications. You will be comfortable writing test plans, regression packs and unit testing. You will also be able to identify and collaborate with developers to identify tests that would be useful to automate in future.

Working in a busy software team you will work alongside developers, business analysts and the wider test team. As a result, good communication skills are key and you’ll be the type of person who likes to bring ideas to the table.
