With over 20 years of success, our client provides a wide range of programmes and services to support children and young people with learning disabilities. They are a well-respected and innovative Devon-based charity where learning disabled children and young people’s best outcomes are at the heart of everything they do.
Our client’s Registered Manager is moving on to take up a new development opportunity and they now have a fantastic opening for an experienced Manager to join them to lead and manage the organisation’s Residential Care and overnight Short Breaks Home in Dartington.
Our client’s home is a GOOD Ofsted rated children’s home and our client is looking for someone with the right expertise, child-centred values, motivation and drive to lead them to outstanding and keep them there. It goes without saying this will be a challenging role but also rewarding, offering you the opportunity to develop, innovate and ensure the very best quality of care and support and outcomes are achieved for the young people our client is privileged to work with and support.

To join this passionate team, you’ll need to:
- Have worked for at least three years in a position relevant to the residential care of young people which has included at least two years’ experience of supervising and managing staff
- Either hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Children (England) or a recognised equivalent (e.g. Diploma in Social Work)
