My client is the UK Head Office for a major, international engineering & manufacturing business. Due to actual and forecast growth (10% year on year) the need has been identified for an experienced, Management Accountant to join the Team.

Reporting to a dynamic and enthusiastic Finance Director you will assist in the supervision and development of a small team. You will be an experienced and pragmatic finance professional. Rational and a proven problem solver who can work with the FD to deliver draft monthly management accounts and review and improve process and controls with strong tech skills as well as being an effective partner to the business.

Your duties will be varied but will include:-

  • Production of monthly management accounts including variance & margin analysis
  • Budgeting & forecasting
  • Cashflow forecasting & management
  • Balance sheet control
  • Review and development of more resilient financial controls, processes, controls & procedures
  • Develop effective & accurate KPIs and deliver commercial dashboards to non-finance managers
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • VAT
  • Assist auditors at year end

You will be an experienced & proven commercial finance professional who can add value to the team and can clearly exhibit experience and capability across all the above areas.
