Assistant Accountant, Brand Agency, West London, Paying £40,000 - £45,000
 
We have a fantastic role within an exciting new brand agency based in West London. 
 
We are seeking a Management Accountant to support on all the financial transactions of the company (AP&AR). 
In this position you will work closely with all departments within the business and provide the business with greater insight. 
 
There are fantastic benefits including their hybrid element (3 days in office) and study support.

Responsibilities:
  • Making journal entries for all receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
  • Filing source documents for all journal entries recorded
  • Posting journal entries to ledger accounts
  • Preparing trial balances
  • Ensuring all invoices are issued on time within the correct billing cycle.
  • Assist in all queries that arise through billing to ensure this is rectified in a timely and professional manner.
  • Raising and allocation of all credit notes as per the company’s process.
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Performing other duties as required
  • Assisting with preparation of commentary on variance analysis and performance reportable to the company, as required
  • Assisting with interim and year-end statutory audits
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
Requirements: 
  • Must come from a consumer/retail background 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate at all levels.
  • Short notice period/immediately available 
  • Part Qualified ACA/ CIMA / ACCA 
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Taking responsibility of timely delivering to the deadline
  • Quick to learn and adaptable to changing work allocation and environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
