Paying up to £48,000, we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant who wants a hands-on role with a business partnering feel. The role includes the full spectrum from balance sheet reconciliation to budget setting. This is a great opportunity to work for a growing international business within a large finance team.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant roles core purpose is to produce the monthly management reporting  and management information, providing accurate and relevant information to aid decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the timely production of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and cash flow forecast 
  • Reconcile the Balance sheet on a monthly basis and resolve any issues
  • Budget setting, monitoring, and reporting with key stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement of operational finance systems and processes
  • Provide support with the annual audit and company returns
  • Work closely with the Business Partnering team to deliver the best service to key stakeholders
  • Opportunity to work on adhoc projects including M&A work

THE PERSON

  • You will ideally hold a CCAB accounting qualification or are a finalist looking to qualify within the next 12 months.
  • You will be an experienced management accountant with experience in balance sheet reconciliations, budget setting  and cash flow forecasting
  • Strong Excel skills are key, alongside experience working on and ERP system
  • An effective communicator, with the natural ability to work with non-finance budget holders
