Management Accountant 

• Salary: £45,000 per annum

Reed Finance are exclusively supporting a well-established organisation based in Edinburgh seeking a Management Accountant to oversee the financial operations of the group. This role is integral to the financial health of the organisation, requiring a hands-on approach and a positive, can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing management accounts, consolidating results, and preparing budgets and forecasts.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee the financial operations of all companies within the group.
• Review monthly management accounts and consolidate monthly results.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasts for the group.
• Conduct daily reviews of all company bank accounts.
• Review daily cash flows and compile weekly sales figures.
• Manage VAT Returns and Statutory Payments for the UK
• Complete government surveys and handle multi-currency supplier payments.
• Assist the Financial Controller with auditors during the annual audit.
• Provide support and assistance to a Finance team of 9 members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A positive, can-do attitude with a hands-on approach.
• Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Ability to handle large volumes of work and be a strong team player.
• Confident manner when dealing with stakeholders.
