Our fast-growing commercial client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to work closely with the Finance Manager.
Your new role
You will be assisting the Finance Manager with the production of monthly management accounts to tight reporting deadlines. Manage the balance sheet reconciliations, calculation of accruals and prepayments. Monthly cost centre reporting for cost management and forecasting, assisting with intercompany reporting and assisting in the annual statutory accounts along with VAT returns and corporation tax.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA or ACCA qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant who ideally trained in practice looking for a move into commerce. Experience of VAT returns, preparing accounts and tax would be ideal. You will have good analytical skills with the ability to explain variances.
What you'll get in return
This is a hybrid role: 50% office based, 50% remote, salary £45000 - £50000 depending on experience plus pension, 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
