An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Management Accountant to join a dynamic and inclusive team based in Manchester City Centre. This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000, along with the flexibility of hybrid working. The successful candidate will be part of a high calibre team responsible for preparing, analysing, and reporting the financial results of the business in a well-controlled, accurate and timely manner. This role is not just about delivering numbers but also about driving business growth and ensuring strong governance.

What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the international ledger and supporting the delivery of monthly management accounts. You will take ownership of balance sheet reconciliation and reporting while producing analytical review packs for various stakeholders. Your ability to facilitate delivery and audit revenue for multiple global entities will be crucial in this role. You will have the opportunity to create, manipulate and analyse complex data-sets while contributing to key projects within the team. Your responsibilities will also include supporting wider segment/revenue accounting projects, posting, reporting and reconciling accounting records for the Acquiring platform. Furthermore, you will facilitate the delivery of key elements of SOX process controls along with development of the SOX frameworks.

  • Manage the international ledger, including handling booking of costs and reporting them to stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of monthly management accounts.
  • Own balance sheet reconciliation and reporting.
  • Produce analytical review packs for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Facilitate delivery and audit of revenue for multiple global entities.
  • Create, manipulate and analyse complex datasets.
  • Contribute to key projects within the team.
  • Support continued delivery of wider segment/revenue accounting projects.
  • Post, report and reconcile accounting records for the Acquiring platform.
  • Facilitate the delivery of key elements of SOX process controls along with development of the SOX frameworks.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position is a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience working in a high-volume data driven business. You will bring a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, practices, and procedures. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be key in this role. The ability to create and handle complex datasets & spreadsheets is essential, as is your skill in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving. Advanced Excel Skills are also required.

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
