Our client a food trading and manufacturing business based in Northamptonshire, have an immediate requirement for a Management Accountant to join their business. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a forward-thinking food business with an outstanding reputation.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following

  • Debtor Analysis, Top 50 customer report, Analysis of SA sales, Sales by geographical location, Overhead Analysis, Trading Analysis, various graphs, and other reports.
  • Authorise payments.
  • Weekly Result production, including top customers, product information and summary.
  • Enter commission transactions – monitor & reconcile – distribute reports.
  • Produce weekly estimated results / Commodity report.
  • Inter depot payments (reconcile P/L to S/L)
  • Run various query reports.
  • Analysis on weekly accounts
  • Review P/L entries and Currency Revaluations
  • Updated standing journals – Review and amend where necessary.
  • VAT Returns
  • Reconciliations – Cost Suspense a/cs
  • Check Debtors/Creditors Est purchases.
  • Control Account Reconciliations
  • Reconcile inter-companies and settle balances internally.
  • Produce and distribute monthly estimated results.
  • Liaise with auditors.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £50,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience).
