The Role:

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, partnering closely with heads of departments and managers to provide financial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making.

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
  • Provide insightful commentary and reports on financial performance to senior management.
  • Monitor and report on capital expenditure activities.
  • Collaborate with regional management to identify areas of improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate capture and reporting of all transactions.
  • Conduct fixed asset register reconciliations.
  • Liaise with auditors and assist in annual financial audits when required.
  • Support the wider finance team in capturing spend through the purchase ledger.
  • Prepare regular balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Improve service quality by evaluating systems and devising new processes as appropriate.
  • Produce clear, legible, and consistent written documentation.
