Assistant Management Accountant, Immediate start ideal, Camberley, £35-40k + Benefits

We’re working with a growing hi-tech business to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This varied and challenging role will suit someone with good all-round management accounting experience, maybe studying for a professional qualification and looking for their next career move. In this job you will play a key role in the preparation of monthly accounts as well as supporting day to day finance operations. Candidates available at short notice will be particularly welcome.

Duties will include:

  • Reporting to the FC, working in a friendly and supportive finance team.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Prepare weekly sales updates and performance reports.
  • Reconcile balance sheet control accounts.
  • Monitor weekly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in accurate month-end reporting and monthly profit and cash flow forecasting.
  • Support half-year reporting processes, quarterly review reporting and produce financial appraisal packs.
  • Develop processes and procedures.

About you:

Previous experience in a similar role with experience in the preparation of management accounts.

Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE) candidates will be considered.

Strong attention to detail and a desire to add value and develop internal processes.
