Newcross Healthcare are looking to recruit experienced and dedicated full-time Male Care Assistant/Support Workers in Hamilton, Coatbridge, Wishaw, Blantyre and the surrounding local areas of South Lanarkshire, to work through our friendly Hamilton branch.
You must have some previous experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, challenging behaviour and epilepsy. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate healthcare professionals who will uphold our Philosophy of Care and always with a person-centred focus, promoting the dignity and independence of our service users, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Due to rural client locations and shift times, public transport is not always readily available, therefore access to your own vehicle is desirable.The Support Role
This position is predominantly caring for clients with Epilepsy - you should have experience in this area along with medications training - although training could be provided. You will be working on either a 1-1 basis or within a small team of Support Workers.
You will be promoting a more independent and fulfilling lifestyle, enabling service users to access to community and interact with friends, family and local people.
Shifts can include days, nights and/or weekends. This is a flexible part-time full-time position and means you could be working for more than one home in the local area you should be willing to work at short notice shifts in this position.

You will need to have the right to live and work in the UK, at least 3 months' previous paid care experience in the UK and suitable referee contact details to apply for this vacancy.
