We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to work for our client based in York. The position is a permanent role and works on a 3-week shift pattern working Monday - Friday with occasional night shift requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance and production teams to achieve maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Usage of computerised maintenance systems to track stock, job details and PPM.
  • Liaise with Contractors and suppliers to ensure company engineering standards are achieved.
  • Ensure company Health and safety standards are always met.
  • Continuous Improvement and project works to further the business.

The Successful Candidate

  • Level 3 or higher qualification in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical).
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Logical mind set to balance department requirements.
  • Great attention to detail and time management
  • Strong IT skills
  • ATEX knowledge (Preferable but not required)
