Job Title: Maintenance Operative

Location: Canterbury

Pay rate: £12.28

Contract: Ongoing temporary position (with the potential to go temp to perm)

Hours: Monday to Friday, either 8am-3:45pm or 9am - 4:45pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Our client is looking for a Facilities Assistant to help them through a busy period.

• Minor maintenance jobs
• Painting doors
• Delivering parcels
• Move furniture
• Sweeping / blowing leaves
• Roof checks
• Unload deliveries
• Hold keys to open and close doors
• Event set up
• Basic IT skills required
• Assist the duty Facilities Assistant with other duties such as fire alarm, refuge point alarm testing, completion of job sheet allocations.

Experience and skills required for this position:

• Basic DYI skills required.
• Previous experience in warehouse, caretaking, estates or facilities would be ideal.
