Maintenance Engineer

A leading energy company require an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding facility in Leeds, you will responsible for all plant on site including bearing, conveyors, values, industrial mixers, hydraulics & pneumatic.

Skills & experience

Plant / heavy plant / recycling / waste / aggregate

Time served

Fault Finding - bearing, conveyors, values, industrial mixers, hydraulics & pneumatics

Welding & Fabrication (desirable)

Electrical skills are a bonus

Health & Safety aware - happy working in confined spaces / hot & dirty environments

Flexible working - stay on to resolve break downs (out of hours contact)

Must be organised - manage workshop \ spares department

Self Managed - PPM, Continuous Improvement as well as reactive

Fixed first time - no half completed work

Plant safety training \ induction available

2 shift rotation - 5 days per week

6am - 2.30pm / 2pm - 10.30pm

30 min break / 30 minute hand over between shifts

28 days including bank holidays, plant runs throughout holiday seasons

5% Pension, 3x death in Service

Salary £30k - £35k

Shift premium paid £10 per afternoon shift / £15 per night shift (worth £2k)
