The Maintenance Engineer role:
Primarily supporting Precision Engineering, the Maintenance Engineerrolewill encompass maintenance of a wide range of machining tools, planned maintenance on plant and equipment, attending to breakdowns, diagnosis and repair of machinery plus the day to day maintenance of site services. Working on a variety of equipment and services across all business sites in Burgess Hill, you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your role will be to service the needs of both businesses.
Their ideal Maintenance Engineer will have:
- HNC or related discipline, apprenticeship or relevant previous experience
- Background in electrical and/or mechanical fault finding / diagnosis in an industrial environment
- Electrical knowledge to include the latest 17th Edition wiring Regulations would be desirable.
- Logical fault finding approach
- Self motivated employing safe working practices in the work place.
Working a 37 hour week, Monday to Friday, this position offers a competitive salary with benefits including a pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, company sick pay, and private healthcare after a qualifying period.
