I am recruiting for a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator for a client based in Wolverhampton to join their fleet management company, which currently has 5,000 vehicles under their group. The client offers a leading service designed to be flexible to meet precise requirements, offering solutions to customer issues in fleet management operations.

This is a full-time position 40-hour week, permanent role based in Wolverhampton, £35k including fantastic company benefits.

Role includes:

  • Authorising repairs for the compliance team and updating them on the progress
  • Authorising Repairs for Drive-in vehicles and updating the system to track and monitor the progress.
  • Authorising breakdown repairs, updating the system, and updating the customer on the progress of that repair.
  • Sourcing parts for repairs and looking at alternative cost-effective parts to limit spend on the older assets.
  • Assisting the fleet customer support team on advice of where to send a vehicle for repair or whom they should pass the job to.
  • Assisting the fleet customer support team with any issues that may have arisen from passing a repair job out.
  • Authorising final spend on repairs from within the authorisation inbox.
  • Closing jobs & Issuing PO numbers to suppliers within 48 hours
  • Assisting the recharge team with recharges or any queries that a customer may have with a recharge.
  • Assisting the compliance team with any issues that may arise around servicing.
  • Looking at the quickest and most cost-effective way of getting VOR vehicle’s back up and running.
  • Being involved with the dealer Manufacturing meetings to go through any topics that have occurred over the last few months.
  • Assisting with breakdown calls and passing jobs out (When and if there are staff shortages)
  • Interacting with the field engineers on any issues that they cannot be resolved or need assistance with.
  • Going through the Recharge Queries spreadsheet to resolve any outstanding queries.
  • Liaising with VOR and chasing any vehicles they have problems with to get the jobs moving forward.
  • Going through invoice queries.
  • Passing any jobs for warranty, credits or goodwill to the relevant person to follow up
  • You will need:
  • Similar experience in a similar role as a Fleet Maintenance Co-Ordinator, knowledge of using R2C software.
  • Can work well under pressure.
  • Excellent Microsoft skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • CPC qualification would be beneficial.
