Here at Impact Recruitment we are hiring Machine Operators for one of our clients in Northampton. They mass produce their product for a number of well known retailers across the UK and are looking for skilled Machine Operatives that they can train on a range of their machinery. The ideal candidate is someone with a proven work history who is looking for a long-term permanent position.

Salary: £13phr - £15phr (DoE)

Hours: 6am - 1pm & 1pm - 8pm (Weekly Rotating)

Location: Northampton

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate machines to produce finished products.
  • Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal output.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and address minor machine issues to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete production records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Machine Operative or related processes
  • Technical proficiency in operating and troubleshooting machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to machine maintenance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
