Luxury Travel Store Sales Supervisor - London - £competitive salary + commission

Our client is a luxury Caribbean specialist Tour Operator and they are looking for an experienced Retail Travel Supervisor to assist the Sales Manager in all aspects of the customer's holiday experience within the store.


  • Ensuring highest standards of customer service in Store
  • Assisting customers with enquiries
  • Ensuring Store booking procedures are being followed
  • Monitoring customer waiting time and liaising with Sales Manager for recruitment of additional staff
  • Maintaining efficient customer desk handling and turnover
  • Managing Store sales executive team, including timekeeping, rosters, lunch breaks
  • Key stakeholder for UVI Product/Commercial/Marketing/PR Departments
  • Collation and dissemination of Store booking, footfall and additional KPI reports and customer point of sale information required by Senior Management
  • Organization of Store evening functions
  • Assisting Sales Manager in supervision of the Sales team
  • Sales Training, Coaching and feedback of the Sales team
  • Managing Wedding appointments
  • Daily feedback to Head of Operations regarding suggested improvements to service delivery, policies and procedures 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years Retail Travel experience with a minimum of 2 years in an Assistant Manager position
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Outstanding customer service and complaint handling skills
  • Experience of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
  • Good knowledge of the Caribbean’s customs, culture and geography
  • Excellent diplomatic skills
  • Sales training and development experience essential
