Are you an experienced and resilient leader with a background in logistics? Join our client as a Logistics Supervisor in Portsmouth, overseeing a range of crucial responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient route planning to optimize delivery schedules.
  • Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for transportation operations.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure a well-maintained fleet.
  • Manage drivers' hours, holidays, and overall scheduling.
  • Effectively oversee and coordinate deliveries to meet customer expectations.
  • Resolve issues promptly, particularly in case of vehicle-related challenges.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics and transport management.
  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday from 4 am to 12/1 pm, with occasional weekends.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
