Logistics Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Manager to join a prestigious, international service provider. This pivotal role entails overseeing an efficient, legally compliant, and highly cost-effective logistics department, dedicated to delivering exceptional service excellence.

Based in West London, this is a full time, permanent position working 7.00am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this opportunity is up to £55,000 per annum.

The day to day

• Ensuring vehicle and driver compliance with requirements, including O licence, site, EU, Health and Safety, and other legal requirements.
• Ensuring risk assessments are implemented and completed as required.
• Monitor drivers to meet customer service and route optimization goals.
• Analysing data and implementing corrective actions to efficiently resolve logistics problems.
• Leading, managing, and developing personnel with regular review and feedback meetings.

You will have/be

• Previous management experience within logistics is desired.
• Proven leadership and people management skills coupled with the ability to influence and motivate.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• A positive and flexible attitude with strong initiative and quick reactions.
• Attentive to detail and proficient in data analysis to support continuous improvement.
• IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience of lean (Six Sigma) implementation in lean
