Are you passionate about managing the smooth flow of goods and coordinating logistics operations? Our client, a leading organisation in Aldermaston, is seeking a talented and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team. The role is working Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 5.30pm and offering a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 DOE, plus excellent benefits including free onsite parking, 22 days holiday allowance (plus bank holidays) increasing with length of service and birthday off.

Own mode of transport is essential due to location.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, control, and update progress of incoming supplier shipments worldwide, including Sea, Air, and Land transportation.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse team to ensure efficient delivery times for product storage.
• Act as the main point of contact for arranging domestic shipping, pallets, and courier services.
• Manage external 3rd party warehouses for stock transfers and direct shipments.
• Prepare and verify documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements.
• Arrange customs clearance for inbound shipments via Sea, Air, Road, and Courier services.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure timely payment of freight and other charges.
• Utilise technology to enable real-time tracking of goods.
• Coordinate accurate delivery schedules across departments.
• Organise internal work orders and control stock picking process.
• Monitor and maintain company systems such as MRP/ERP/CRM to ensure accurate data.
• Stay updated on EU directives, such as WEEE, Packaging Waste, and Batteries.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of logistic processes including SEA, AIR, freight forwarders, and customs.
• Experience working with MRP/ERP/CRM systems
• Familiarity with warehouse operational control, including stock movements and counts.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
