Job Title: Logistics Assistant
Location: Calne, Wiltshire
Job Type: Permanent, fulltime
Salary: £25-26K DOE

My client is looking for a Logistics Assistant to join their team based in Calne.

The role will be a varied one, which will involve the coordination of paperwork for the products and managing the stock control of stock products on site.

The main duties will be:

  • Coordinating with all relevant departments on a daily basis including Production, Inspection and Despatch with regards the paperwork of products.
  • Work to ISO9001 / ISO14001 accreditation standards when using the quality systems and documentation.
  • Book all work order components into the inhouse computer system soon as the work has been completed by the Inspector.
  • To produce accurate labels for each job within the Inspection
  • To seal and label all good components accurately ready for
  • Pack parts, label, and put into correct boxes/pallets in preparation for despatch.
  • Invoice and despatch all orders due each
  • Manage stock control of resources, g. boxes, bags, pallets.
  • Ensure parts are manufactured in line with production plan and quality standards.

The working hours for the role are Monday-Wednesday 07:00-17:00 & Thursday 07:00-16:30 (4-day week)

Skills/Experience required:

The role will suit someone with strong Administration skills, and previous experience within a warehouse/packing position, ideally within manufacturing.
