A global market leading manufacturer with a base in Alfreton is looking to recruit a suitably experienced Logistics Administrator to join their established team on a 12 month FTC with the possibility of becoming permanent.

As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for providing support to the Logistics team with day to day delivery, inventory, administration and operational queries

Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with bulk deliveries in various locations
  • Control, monitoring and reconciliation of locked and blocked inventory
  • Monitoring of obsolete product lines and arranging disposal in a timely manner
  • Query support, including, call and email based investigation and resolution related to logistics
  • Monitoring data and generating reports and exception reporting and investigation
  • Build positive relationships with key service providers and the customer service team
  • Pod & purchase order processing, associated invoice query investigation
  • Day to day monitor and report quality and credit issues

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced SAP knowledge
  • Understanding of Supply Chain
  • Excellent IT Skills
