A busy Local Authority Legal team in the East Midlands is currently recruiting for a Principal Employment Solicitor on a locum basis for an initial period of 3 months; however there is a strong likelihood of extension.
The ideal candidate will need to have experience handling Employment Law matters relating to unfair dismissals, discrimination and TUPE in the workplace. Further experience in tribunals, whistle blowing, equal pay and wage claims is desirable.
The successful candidate would gain great exposure to a varied caseload and would enjoy a high level of responsibility to include a lot of client contact.
This role offers an attractive hourly rate of between £35 and £40 per hour depending on experience, and there may also be some flexibility in terms of homeworking for the right candidate.
